Sunday, May 4, 2008 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at TOUS Lenox Square Mall(located upper level across from the Apple Store)
Tous is inviting you to attend the premiere charity shopping affair. Join us for a mimosa reception filled with celebratory bubbles and nibbles, toasting to the spirit of philanthropy and goodwill. Under the Big Top: You're the Ringmaster engages children with circus fun as they get moving and learn about exercise, the food pyramid, healthy snacking, and self-image. Children learn how to stretch like an acrobat, make their way through a kid-size obstacle course, and practice juggling healthy fruits and vegetables. Watch as your child learns first-hand how to tame lions of laziness, perform feats of strength and wellness, and discover the many ways to stay active and eat healthy.

Join Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation and Poané Studios for an elaborate evening of celebration. Be part of a memorable experience for Shannon Butler, diagnosed with breast cancer in March, as we anticipate the unveiling of a donated oil painting of Shannon and her three-year-old daughter Hannah Shae by renowned artist Poane. Real Men Cook Atlanta Celebrates Nineteen Years as the Premier Father's Day Event | Sunday, June 15 at The Georgia Railroad Depot
Live performance featuring jazz vocalist, Myrna Clayton, chef demonstrations, clowns, grilling and much more for the entire family.
Real Men Cook® (RMC) For Charity Atlanta will celebrate its 19th season as the Premier Father's Day event on Sunday, June 15 from 3 p.m to 6 p.m. at the Georgia Railroad Depot, 65 MLK Jr. Drive next to Underground Atlanta. Food, fun, and family is the order of the day as more than 100 chefs, cooks, restaurants and caterers serve food to more than 2,000 guests. Chef Rafih of Imperial Fez and other local chefs will do a demonstration on stage. Clowns, ice cream, grilling and live entertainment will be a few of the features of this must attend event for the entire family.
"This Father's Day event is a great opportunity for Atlanta residents to honor strong men and it allows men from all walks of life to show off their culinary skills. Some of the cooks are a bit competitive, but it's all in fun,” said Kevin Ashford, spokesman for the event.
Recognized nationally by the popular "Trumpet Awards," and featured on the Food Network's "Emeril Live" and "Roker On The Road", RMC Atlanta was established in 1989 to build families and provide the opportunity for non-profits to raise money from event ticket sales.
